Little Teddie Needs Your Help!
Last month, FARS took in three adult cats from a home that had 18 cats. The owner had suddenly passed away, and the cats were sick. One cat, Teddie, especially needs care. She is estimated to be about six years old. She is a little shy at first, but quickly warms up for chin scratches. She’ll purr and even ask for more.
Teddie has a large cyst on her kidney and has kidney disease. In addition, she is overdue for a dental cleaning and has polyps in her ears that require medical attention. Sweet little Teddie also has an eye injury and needs to see a specialist. Our motto is “every cat counts.” Just because Teddie is homeless, doesn’t mean she deserves any less care than a cat with a home. Do you agree?
FARS is committed to doing whatever Teddie needs, but it will be costly. We need your help to survive as an organization.

Fortunately for the FARS cats, an anonymous donor has offered us a matching grant in the amount of $5,000. For every dollar we can raise between now and 7/31/10, that donor will match it dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000.
We hope that we can reach our goal of raising $5,000 so that we can receive the desperately needed matching funds. Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated, and very much needed by Teddie and FARS’ other sick kitties. You can follow FARS’ progress towards meeting this goal by checking back here.
