The Feline Adoption & Rescue Society is approved to receive donations through the workplace contributions of public employees through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Employees Charitable Campaign (COMECC) and the City of Boston Charitable Campaign (COBECC). Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all. CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 300 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally to help to raise millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world. Commonwealth of Massachusetts Employees Charitable Campaign (COMECC) 2010The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Employees Charitable Campaign, established in 1984, is governed by Executive Order 451. COMECC, the only authorized payroll deduction workplace solicitation, is conducted under the authority of the Secretary of Administration & Finance. COMECC is voluntary and it affords state employees the opportunity to support private, nonprofit health and human services and environmental organizations. Each year, the Secretary selects a Statewide Campaign Manager for overall management of the campaign and a Local Campaign Manager to conduct and manage COMECC in each of the regions. City of Boston Charitable Campaign (COBECC)The City of Boston Employees Charitable Campaign, established in 1985, is governed by Executive Order dated September 5, 1985. COBECC is voluntary and it affords city employees the opportunity to support private, nonprofit health and human services and environmental organizations.
